This event brings together families of individuals with 16p11.2 syndromes, leading scientists conducting research on 16p11.2, and experienced healthcare providers. The goal is to foster connection, learning, and support in a collaborative environment.
We will work with every family or individual who wants to attend and work to financially accommodate them on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, but every guest must have a ticket, regardless of the sessions they attend.
The cost of the ticket does not change according to age. The price set for tickets is 1/6th the actual base cost. Your ticket can be viewed as a contribution towards the expenses of the conference.

Yes! We are happy to provide childcare on site through both professional caregivers and volunteer OT student candidates getting their PhD at nearby universities. Children will be provided kid-friendly snacks in between meals. Childcare hours will mirror the agenda for the conference lectures. Childcare will take place in Catalina rooms 1 and 2. There will be a calm room and an activating room with appropriate toys, games, crafts, movies and video games. There will be a nanny cam in each room for parents to keep an eye on their children while in the Avalon for lectures. Children are allowed to accompany you to all of the events if they do not disturb the flow of the conference and can remain quiet.
We recommend childcare even with the slightest hint of doubt. If you already paid for childcare, you will receive an email with a detailed agenda of activities planned by one week prior to conference. Children will be divided into ages and development for appropriate play. This is a wonderful opportunity for those with 16p variations to see others like them. These specially priced tickets are for sale only to individuals attending the event for use only by event attendees and their travel party during their stay. Each event attendee (with a registration confirmation) may purchase up to six (6) tickets from this ticket store. Disney reserves the right to contact the ticket purchaser to request that the ticket purchaser provide their event registration confirmation. If it is discovered that the ticket purchaser is not participating in or attending the event, it will be considered a violation of the ticket store terms and conditions, and the ticket(s) will be de-activated and will not be eligible for a refund. To enter a theme park, Guests (ages 3 and older) need both valid admission and a theme park reservation for the same day and same park they want to visit. Park reservations are limited in number; subject to the availability of park reservations allocated to park tickets as determined by Disney, and theme park capacity; and are not guaranteed. Registration will initially take place at 12:30 on 10/2/25 in the Avalon Foyer. There will be volunteers to check in those coming in late.

Unfortunately, bags are limited. Check back at the registration desk on the final day to see if extras are available.
If noted during registration, special meals will be available via a ticket to present to catering staff.
For last-minute needs, contact event staff immediately.
